COMMEMORATIVE 60th MLK March on Washington, DCOn Saturday, 26 August, The Branch hosted a Bus trip to the Commemorative 60th Anniversary of the MLK March on Washington, DC. The branch sponsored many college students and civil rights activist . This was a powerful event and a reminder that our civil rights are still under, attack and we need to remain vigilant in the fight for justice. More importantly..Get out and Vote!

"STILL FIGHTING JIM CROW"- AN NAACP EDUCATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
On 17 May, our President and Executive Secretary participated in the "Still Fighting Jim Crow" - An Educational and Civil Rights Symposium. The symposium raised awareness about the continuous issues in education that need to be resolved and commemorated the 69th Anniversary of Brown V. Board of Education.
28 April 2023 "Something In The Water Festival" VIP Kickoff Brunch
On 28 April, the NAACP VB kicked off the "Something in the Water" Festival in style with a VIP packed, Community Leaders Brunch. Honorees included 3X Platinum Super Producer, Hannon Lane, The FIRST African American Women NFL Referree, Maia Chaka, NFL Hall of Famer, Bruce Smith and Music Mogul Pharrel Williams. This was such a high vibrational event and we appreciate all of the sponsors that made this possible.
